Welcome to Matpixel Academy! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online courses, educational content, and all related products and services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Matpixel Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using any part of our Services, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Matpixel Academy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services after such modifications will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms. 1. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 18 and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on the Services.
You must be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent to register.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to restricting access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than you without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar, or obscene.
You agree to use the Services for lawful, educational, and personal purposes only.
You shall not misuse the Services by transmitting harmful, offensive, or illegal content or by attempting to disrupt the platform’s operation.
You agree not to use automated means (robots, scrapers) to access the Services.
2. Courses and Content
License: Upon enrollment in a course and full payment of the applicable fees, Matpixel Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not redistribute, resell, or share course content.
Course Modifications:
We may update, modify, or discontinue courses at any time without prior notice.
Our courses do not provide lifetime access; they are time-bound and apply only to the current version of each course.
User Responsibilities:
Complete assignments/quizzes honestly (no cheating or plagiarism).
Do not record, reproduce, or distribute course materials.
Respect instructors and fellow students (no harassment or spamming).
Intellectual Property: All content provided on the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, videos, audio, software, and course materials, is the property of Matpixel Academy or its content suppliers and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the content on our Services, except as generally permitted for learning in the Matpixel dedicated web/app portal only, for non-commercial use.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Services, use of the Services, or access to the Services without express written permission by us.
Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Services, or which, as determined by us, may harm Matpixel Academy or users of the Services or expose them to liability.
Use our Services for illegal or fraudulent activities; hack, spam, or disrupt our platform’s functionality; impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations; share login details or allow unauthorized access.
Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Services, the server on which the Services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Services.
3. User-Generated Content
If you submit any content (posts, comments, assignments), you grant Matpixel Academy a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with the platform.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights.
4. Payments and Fees
Course Fees: All course fees are listed on the Matpixel Academy website. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Payments are accepted through authorized payment gateways using valid payment methods such as credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets, or net banking. Matpixel Academy does not store your credit card details.
Access to courses is granted upon successful payment confirmation.
If payment fails or is reversed, Matpixel Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services.
Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes arising from your use of the Services.

5. Lab Access Policy
For users accessing the Matpixel AI Lab:
Lab access is scheduled, limited, and supervised.
All data captured during lab sessions remains the property of Matpixel.
Users must not:
Download or distribute raw sensor data without NDA approval.
Use lab access for commercial purposes unless formally agreed.
Bypass safety protocols, misuse sensors, or damage virtual/real setups.
A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be required in specific research or industry-linked cases.
6. Internships and Mentorships
Participation in our internship program is based on eligibility, availability, and project suitability.
You may be required to sign an Internship Agreement and provide academic proof.
Mentorships are customized and time-bound; misuse or repeated cancellations may lead to termination without refund.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Learners may cancel their subscription or course enrollment as per the cancellation policy.

Matpixel Academy reserves the right to terminate or suspend access due to violation of these Terms or non-payment.
8. Acceptable Conduct
You agree to respect other users and refrain from harassment, hate speech, or abusive language.
Violation of conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban from the platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
Violate these Terms.
Are found cheating or engaging in fraud.
Fail to make payments.
Misuse lab equipment or datasets.
Attempt unauthorized access or system manipulation.
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Services. No refunds will be issued for voluntary termination.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
10. Links to Other Websites
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Matpixel Academy.
Matpixel Academy has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites.
You acknowledge and agree that Matpixel Academy shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Matpixel Academy and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Services, by you or any person using your account and password, or b) a breach of these Terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Matpixel Academy, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (iii) any content obtained from the Services; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Further, any direct liability incurred by Matpixel Academy shall be limited to a maximum of INR 1,000 in aggregate, regardless of the legal theory under which liability is claimed—even if prior notice of possible damages was given or any remedy fails in its essential purpose.
13. Warranties and Disclaimer
Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
Matpixel Academy, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Services will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Services are free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Services will meet your requirements.
No Guarantees:
Courses are for educational purposes only.
We do not guarantee employment or specific results.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Services.

We are not responsible for external websites linked from our platform.
Limitation of Liability:
Matpixel Academy shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
Errors or interruptions in service.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration before litigation.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Services and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Services.
15. Copyright Infringement Notification
Matpixel Academy respects intellectual property rights and expects all users of its platform to do the same. If you believe, in good faith, that your copyright-protected work has been used on our platform without authorization, you may submit a formal notice to us containing the following details:
Identification of the Copyright Owner: An electronic or physical signature of the individual authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Description of the Work: A clear and detailed description of the copyrighted material you believe has been infringed.
Location of the Infringing Material: Specific URL or location on the Matpixel Academy platform where the allegedly infringing content appears, along with any relevant context.
Contact Information: Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and active email address.
Good Faith Declaration: A statement that you genuinely believe the disputed use is not permitted by the copyright holder, authorized agent, or applicable law.
Accuracy & Authorization Statement: A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in the notice is accurate and that you are the rightful copyright owner or legally authorized to act on their behalf.

User: A person who accesses or uses the Services, whether registered or unregistered.

Content: Includes course materials, texts, videos, graphics, software, and other content on the platform.
Subscription: Paid access to courses or learning materials for a specified period.

These Terms of Service are deemed an electronic record under applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000. As they are generated by a computer system, no physical or digital signatures are required for their validity or enforceability.
